Basically these make the outside nighttime lights yellow. They take away some of the glare, but they were hard for me to get used too, so I use them as sunglasses when I can’t find my other pairs.They said these were polarized. Even sent a little test photo-worked with all my other glasses, but not these! Will see how well they work as night vision glasses.Great for night driving no glare even when rainingThese glasses are verry good at keeping the glare out of my eyes during night driving. Frames are sturdy and fit well. lenses are thick plastic with yellow tint making them very light to wear and light deflecting. I live in a rural mountain area and wildlife is abundant but more-so a danger. Watching out for them at night while on highway at 70-80mph is nearly impossible when they come running across the road! Also, being SO dark with not much traffic and no streetlights for almost a hundred miles, when you do encounter an oncoming car, its near blinding, plus eyes need to Quickly adjust after they go by... Didnt think it could get so much better! Wow. They make the right things brighter and the wrong things lighter. A must-have for migraine sufferes if they're caused by light. The eyes of animals are much more visible as are other unpredictable obsticles. The horrible whitelights of other cars, lightbars, streetlights, ect. are a cool yellow that isn't so dreadful... Road reflectors and other semi-bright distractions almost seem to disappear. Love these. Comfortable too!
