yes it does tangle but it's incredibly long so that should be expected. However, it doesn't tangle as much as my other wigs that are this long. I highly recommend keeping a 2 soft scrunchies on you and tieing the wig to the side in a low side pony into 2 sections. I do this anytime I am not taking photos with long wigs. It will decrease tangling and the need to brush it by a lot.The wig is pretty shiny but if you wash it with fabric softener a lot of it will go away. I had to also cut the bangs quite a bit (about a full inch and a half) to make them look like the characters. But again, that's usually how wigs with bangs are.Overall I love this wig and am very happy with it. For the price it is amazing.
