I had cataract surgery a couple of months ago and no longer need to wear my old corrective lenses. I do, however, still need "readers" for close work (within an arms length) and smaller print. I shopped around and found these on Amazon for a very reasonable price and thought I would give them a try. I ordered a set of five in a .75 magnification. I was very pleased when they arrived and I was able to determine the overall quality. They are light, sturdy and fit well. The lenses are not distorted in any way. I was so impressed that I ordered a second set of five (they have a slight tendency to get mislaid). I have them strategically placed throughout the house and in our two vehicles. This was a very good purchase for me!I have gone through over 20 pair. If I forget and leave the room within them in reach, one dog will climb up and get. She chews on the frames, the other one likes the lenses. The only other thing they like as much is the plastic remote that turns the light on and off. And I've gone through 4 of those.Not comfortable at all, it's like one size fits all. Each pair seems to be different in quality view. Should be the same. Buy cheap, get cheap quality products. Lesson learned.Prior to these I’ve only bought cheaters at the dollar store. The last cheap pair I bought fit horribly, and they tend to have rough edges, the lenses fall out, they get scuffed easily…so I thought I’d see if I could find something a little nicer than my usual. I was attracted to the spring arms in these and thought I’d give them a try, not really expecting much. Wow. They exceeded my expectations and then some. The lenses are lightweight and crystal clear. It feels like I’m not wearing them at all. And the spring arms are really nice. Glad I got five pairs, because otherwise I’d have to order more.These are excellent readers -- better than the cheap drug store kind, well made, durable. The black/blue and tortoise are my favorites. The price is great - no angst if you lose a pair or if they break. I'm ready to place my 3rd order (bought some for myself and the boyfriend and he says it's the best gift I've given him!)The product itself is great, however I selected mix wanting different colors and only received dark brown.
